NOVEMBER 29, 1996 - JANUARY 27, 2022

Our beautiful daughter, Madison Shea Pilkington, was painfully taken from us by her boyfriend, Cortez Lenarde Warren, on January 27, 2022, when he brutally ended her life by beating her to death. Madison was 25, thriving, and enrolled as a working art student at UAB. She received her Arts degree after her funeral with her photo carried along with her classmate’s graduation. She was a gifted and energetic worker and loved by all that knew her, much like you & your own story…

Our path in life may take us places we never knew to fear, until we become trapped & without help.… Help is what we have to ask for. This is your place to ask for help.

As parents: we knew her story wasn’t over. We knew her life was lived for something bigger.

  • Women are now getting out of violent situations because of her story.

  • Many are learning to fight back & pressing charges before it’s too late.

  • You have a voice here.

Purpose Driven: We have created this non-profit organization in honor of Madison. We want to give women a place to go, daycare, help them find jobs, and provide them with legal aid to file protection orders and counseling, etc. But we need your help to get started.

We are continuing to build this website. Pictures will be coming soon of Madison and her artwork. We will also be planning fundraisers and announcing them soon.

Thank you all for your love and support.
